New mayors are to be elected today for the county and five municipal districts.
The first Annual General Meeting at county buildings will see a Mayor and Deputy Mayor elected for the Tralee MD.
This will be followed by AGMs for the Kenmare, Killarney, Castleisland- Corca Dhuibhne, and Listowel MDs, which will each elect a Cathaoirleach and Leas Cathaoirleach.

An AGM for Kerry County Council will then be held at 12.30 to elect the county’s new Cathaoirleach and Leas Cathaoirleach.
