New Irish film featuring four Kerry artists to begin touring

A new Irish film featuring four Kerry artists is to begin touring the film festivals circuit shortly.

The film follows nature restoration charity Hometree’s ‘Dinnseanchas’ project.

During the project, artists were embedded in six coastal communities to document their experiences of climate change, depopulation, and socio-economic and agricultural policies.

Heather Griffin and Patrick Mulvihill were based in Lyreacrompane, Síomha Brock in Uíbh Ráthach and Zoë Rush in Corca Dhuibhne.

It was filmed along the west coast from Kerry to Donegal.

Dinnseanchas includes personal stories and traditional knowledge.

The film was commissioned by nature restoration charity, Hometree.
