New Cathaoirligh elected to three Kerry MDs

New Cathaoirligh have been elected to three Municipal Districts in Kerry.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Johnnie Wall has been elected as Mayor of Tralee and his party colleague Cllr Mikey Sheehy is Deputy Mayor.

Fianna Fáil Cllr Fionnán Fitzgerald was elected Cathaoirleach of the Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD; Fianna Fáil Cllr Michael O'Shea takes on the role of Leas-Cathaoirleach.

Meanwhile in the Fine Gael Cllr Mike Kennelly was elected Cathaoirleach of the Listowel MD and his party colleague Cllr Aoife Thornton was elected as Leas-Cathaoirleach.

Both the Kenmare and Killarney MDs will meet tomorrow to elect the cathaoirligh for each area.
