Nearly 2,500 qualified applicants on Kerry social housing list last year

There were currently nearly two-and-a-half thousand (2,482) qualified applicants on the social housing list in Kerry last year.

That's according to Kerry County Council's Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2025.

It's an increase of 149 on the year before (from 2,333).

The figures highlight the continuing demand for social housing support across Kerry amid ongoing pressure on availability.
