The story of a Kerry family whose members were placed in industrial schools and orphanages is featuring in a new exhibition at the National Museum of Ireland.
Objects belonging to the late Christina Coffey are being shown alongside objects owned by Mary Robinson and Michael Collins at the museum at Collins Barracks in Dublin.
Christina was a member of the Traveller community, and was placed in the industrial school system in the 1950s.
Her belongings, including her pinafore and rosary ring are on display as part of the "Changing Ireland Galleries" exhibition.
Christina's daughter, Catherine Coffey O'Brien and her family were honoured at the launch of the exhibition.
