The main Killarney to Farranfore road will be down to one lane today to allow Uisce Éireann to carry out emergency works.
One lane of the N22 will be closed at Brennan’s Glen from 9am today.
That section was down to one lane earlier this morning, from 5:30 to 7:30, but is currently open as normal to facilitate rush-hour traffic.

At 9 o’clock, the road will be reduced to a single lane again to facilitate these emergency repair works.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra travel time and follow traffic management signage.
It’s not yet known how long the works will take to complete, but the council says it will provide updates on the project as it receives them.
