The N21 between Abbeyfeale and Newcastlewest is closed following a two-car collison near the Devon Inn Hotel at Templeglantine, Co. Limerick.

Injuries have been reported.

Gardaí in Henry Street in Limerick are asking people to avoid the area as the road is expected to remain closed for several hours.

Diversions are in place.
