Over €1.4 million worth of funding has been allocated to Munster Technological University.
The funds were announced by Ministers McConalogue and Heydon, and will go towards four projects in the agri-food, forestry, and bio-economy sectors.

They include research into pre-school nutrition, drainage detection for soil, listeria in food production, and bio-stimulants for grass.
