Gardaí say the motorcyclist killed near the Conor Pass yesterday was from the North Kerry/West Limerick area.
At around 5’clock yesterday evening, Dingle gardaí came across the serious road traffic collision involving two motorbikes while out on patrol.
The Kawasaki and Harley Davidson had been travelling from Dingle towards Castlegregory via Ballyhoneen, Cloghane.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene, and two others - two French tourists, a husband and a wife - were injured .
It's understood the couple is stable in University Hospital Kerry.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist in his mid-30s sustained very serious injuries when the motorbike he was driving collided with a wall in West Kerry.
The man, who has been living in Dingle for several years, overshot a sharp bend at Deerpark, Lispole at around ten to one last Tuesday afternoon (2 September).
He was taken to Cork University Hospital (CUH) by helicopter, where he remains in a very serious, albeit, stable condition.
Gardaí in Dingle or Tralee are asking anyone with information to contact them.
Gardaí in Listowel have also issued an appeal concerning a single vehicle collision at Shromebeirne, Kilmorna.
At nine o’clock last Thursday evening (4 September), a beige Audi saloon was travelling from Listowel towards Abbeyfeale.
The driver of the vehicle lost control at the bend, collided with a ditch and ended up in a field.
One of the passengers on board received serious and significant injuries.
The area was forensically examined; anyone with any information is asked to contact Listowel Garda Station on 068 50820.
