A motorcyclist is being treated in intensive care in University Hospital Kerry, after being involved in serious crash in Kenmare yesterday.
The collision occurred in the townland of Old Kenmare at about 2.30pm, when the white Aprilia motorcycle was seen overtaking a number of cars, and failed to observe a vehicle which was turning right.
A collision then occurred between the motorbike and the car.
The injured man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to UHK and is being treated for serious injuries.

Meanwhile, Gardaí have re-issued their appeal for information about last week's fatal accident in Kilgarvan, which claimed the life of a male pedal cyclist.
This occurred on the R569 at 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 10 and involved a brown Opel Astra car.
Anyone who witnessed the accident and hasn't already come forward, is asked to contact Gardaí in Killarney.
