The Children, Disability and Equality Minister is urging early years staff to apply for state funding to study in MTU Kerry.
Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley says the Nurturing Skills Learner Fund will cover 90 per cent of the course fees for early years staff who undertake a degree course.
The scheme is co-funded by the European Union through the EIST programme; and aims to achieve a graduate-led workforce in early learning and care services by 2028.

Meanwhile, Minister Norma Foley admits housing figures are not good, but government is making progress.
