Minister says job losses at Abbeyfeale KOSTAL show Ireland must focus on competitiveness

The approximately 140 job losses announced at KOSTAL in Abbeyfeale show that Ireland must focus on its manufacturing competitiveness.

That's according to the minister for tourism and media, Patrick O'Donovan from West Limerick.

He was speaking in the wake of KOSTAL's announcement that it will move the production of on-board EV chargers from its Abbeyfeale plant to China, potentially in the last quarter of this year.
