Minister of State Kevin Boxer Moran is to visit sites affected by flooding and coastal erosion in Kerry.
He has accepted a long-standing invitation from Minister of State Michael Healy-Rae to visit the county.
Junior Minister Moran has responsibility for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief, and he’ll visit flood-hit locations in North Kerry, including Listowel town.
Minister of State Moran will also visit South, Mid and West Kerry to examine additional OPW matters.
Minister of State Michael Healy-Rae says this visit is about moving from reports to real solutions and funded actions that protect homes, businesses and vital local infrastructure.
Michael Heal-Rae thanked Junior Minister Moran for accepting his invitation to visit Kerry, saying the goal is solutions that work for people as a result of Independents in Government.
