The Minister for Agriculture says Ireland is at a crisis point with bovine tuberculosis (bTB).
Martin Heydon was speaking to Radio Kerry's Sari Houlihan of AgriTime, ahead of a TB summit in Dublin today.
He says the latest bTB incidence rate on 4th May, combined with the cost of bovine TB, shows the country is at crisis point.
He wants agreement with farming organisations and other stakeholders but says the time for talking is over.
