A cabinet minister is confident that Kerry will have a good tourism season this summer.

The Minister for Education, Norma Foley, believes the vaccine roll out will allow people to holiday at home in tourism locations such as Kerry.

Minister Foley, who's the Fianna Fáil TD for Kerry, says the tourism industry will also benefit from grants to assist with the provision of outdoor hospitality and dining.

Norma Foley acknowledges there have been problems with the availability of vaccines but is confident that the roll out will be speeded up.
