Meals on Wheels Tralee and Killarney expects to serve 23,000 meals in 2025 as demand surges

There has been a sharp surge in demand for meals on wheels services in Kerry this year.

The director of Meals on Wheels Tralee and Killarney, Paddy Kevane, says thousands of more meals have been delivered in 2025, compared to last year.

The charity served 17,500 meals last year, but expects to give out up to 23,000 meals by the end of this year.
