Meals on Wheels Kerry is reassuring service users that their food will continue to be delivered.
That’s according to the groups director for Tralee and Killarney, Paddy Kevane.
He notes the service has over 170 registered delivery addresses in the county, while it has distributed around 7,000 meals this year.
Mr Kevane says the services has two vans in its fleet, one electric which covers Tralee, while their diesel van covers rural parts of the county.
He stated while Meals on Wheels has enough fuel to cover around a week, he does have concerns should the situation continue.
However, Mr Kevane says the meals will be delivered to all service users.
