Mayor of Tralee condemns firebombing incident at housing estate in the town

The Mayor of Tralee has condemned an incident in the town overnight where a house was firebombed.

Gardaí responded to reports of an incident of criminal damage by fire at a residence in Cois Coille housing estate, Killeen at 4 o’clock this morning.

It’s understood that two occupants were in the house at the time, however, An Garda Síochána say no injuries have been reported at this time.

Two vehicles outside the property were damaged during the incident.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.

Mayor of Tralee, Labour councillor, Terry O’Brien says he was very disappointed to hear about the incident.
