South Kerry’s May the 4th Sci-fi film festival returns next month.
The festival celebrates the connection between Kerry and the world-renowned Star Wars franchise; part of the franchise was filmed on the Skellig Islands.
Now in its third year, the film festival showcases independent science fiction movies.

Events include a Gala Awards ceremony, stormtrooper patrols, a comic-con, family activities and a 360 degree Star Wars experience.
The May the 4th sci-fi film festival takes place in Portmagee from May 2nd to 4th.
