A man arrested in Listowel on Friday night following the seizure of around €170,000 worth of drugs has been charged and will appear in court tomorrow morning.
Gardaí intercepted a vehicle in the town and recovered a large quantity of cannabis and cocaine around 10pm on Friday as part of Operation Tara and other ongoing investigations .
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was arrested at the scene.

He was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act of 1996 at a Kerry Garda station, and is due to appear before Tralee District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning, Monday June 16th.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
