A man has been remanded on continuing bail in relation to the possession of over €6,000 worth of drugs in North Kerry.
39-year-old Arthur Karczewski of Ardoughter, Ballyduff was before Tralee District Court recently in relation to six charges.
It’s alleged that on March 10th at Ardoughter, Ballyduff, Arthur Karczewski was in possession of controlled drugs, namely cannabis, amphetamine and ketamine – with an estimated value of €6,400.
He faces one charge of cannabis possession and two for possession of cannabis for sale or supply.
Mr Karczewski is also charged with the possession of Ketamine; and possession of Ketamine for sale or supply; while he faces one charge of the possession of methamphetamine for sale or supply, at the same address and on the same date.
His solicitor Padraig O’Connell previously told the court that his client has no income and free legal aid was granted.
At Tralee District Court, Sergeant Chris Manton told Judge Mark O'Connell that instructions from the Director of Public Prosecution are awaited in the case.
Judge O'Connell remanded Mr Karczewski on continuing bail to appear before Tralee District Court on November 5th, by consent, for DPP directions.
