A man facing offensive weapon and trespassing charges has been remanded in custody.
27 year-old Blake Sweeney of Connolly Park Tralee, appeared before Judge Mark O’Connell at Tralee District Court.
It’s alleged that on the morning of September the 11th, that Blake Sweeney trespassed a garden shed at a property in Caherslee, Tralee.
He also faces a charge of possession of a knife, contrary to the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act 1990, at the same address and on the same date.
Mr Sweeney appeared via video-link from Cork Prison and spoke to confirm his name and that he could see and hear the court.
Solicitor Pat Mann, standing in for Brendan Ahern, applied to the Judge to produce the accused in person before the court next week.
Judge Mark O’Connell granted the application and adjourned the case; Mr Sweeney will appear in person at Tralee District Court on September 24th.
