A man in his 20s had died in a road crash at Templeglantine in West Limerick.
The fatal collision at Ballymurragh West on the N21 Abbeyfeale to Newcastlewest road, happened in the early hours of this morning (18/12/2025).
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the two-car collision at roughly ten-to-one this moring (12:50am).
One of the drivers, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a postmortem examination will take place.
Two teenage girls and an adult man were brought to University Hospital Limerick and University Hospital Kerry with serious injuries.
Another man in his 20s was also brought to UHK with non-life-threatening injuries.
The road is currently closed pending a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users, who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were traveling on the N21 between Abbeyfeale and Newcastle West between midnight and 1am are asked to bring it to investigating Gardaí.
