A man is due in court this afternoon in connection with an alleged assault at a house in North Kerry.
Just before 9 o’clock last night, Gardaí attended a house in Listowel following a report of an alleged assault.
A man in his 20s was arrested.

This man has since been charged and is due to appear in Cork City District Court at 2pm.
Gardaí say one of their members sustained an injury while responding to the incident; Radio Kerry News understands the Garda broke his ankle and was taken to University Hospital Kerry.
