A man is due in court this morning in connection with an alleged assault in Listowel over the weekend.
Gardaí say the incident happened in Listowel at around 5:30 in the morning on Sunday.
The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested and is due before a sitting of Tralee District Court this morning.

A second man, who is in his 30s, was taken to University Hospital Kerry after the alleged assault, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
