A man is due in court in connection with an alleged incident of false imprisonment of a woman in a vehicle in North Kerry at the weekend.
The incident occurred in Listowel in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in connection to an alleged incident of false imprisonment of a woman in a car in Listowel.
Gardaí say this incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning on Clieveragh Road at approximately 3:20am.
The man was arrested under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before a court in Cork City this morning.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
