Main Street in Killarney will be closed for several months as part of an upgrading project.
The road from Kenmare Place to Plunkett Street will close today and will remain closed until the 3rd of July.
It will reopen again for peak tourism season, before closing again from the 5th of October until the 4th of December.

It marks Phase 1 of the Killarney Public Realm Project, funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
The investment aims to improve the town’s streetscape, accessibility and overall visitor experience.
