Local diversions are in place to facilitate a forensic investigation following a fatal collision involving one car outside Tralee, on the N21 Tralee bypass.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a male in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision with a tree around 10.20 this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene, including four units from the Tralee Fire Service
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are currently carrying out a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision. They are particularly appealing to those with camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the area at the time to come forward.
