Listowel Writers’ Week will honour the late Frank Hayes at this year’s festival.
Mr Hayes, who was Kerry Group Global Head of Corporate Affairs, passed away last August.
The literary festival said Mr Hayes was always very supportive of Writers’ week and he was the instigator behind the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year Award.

The inaugural Frank Hayes Lecture takes place on Saturday May 31st in the Plaza Hall at 12 noon.
The panel discussion, chaired by Fergal Keane is titled “Memory and Forgetting - The Use and Abuse of The Past”.
