Listowel Bypass expected to go to tender this month

It's expected the Listowel Bypass project will go to tender this month.

Kerry County Council says the land acquisition process for the almost six kilometre project is continuing.

Additional information on the procurement process has been submitted to Transport Infrastructure Ireland following a request and the council is awaiting a response.

Listowel Municipal District councillors were told that once that is completed the project will go to tender.

The council said prior to a tender being awarded it will need final approval by TII and the Department of Transport.
