A Kerry social enterprise has been awarded €10,000 in funding and business supports by Rethink Ireland.
KASI, Killarney Immigrant Support Services, has been providing practical and social support to Asylum Seekers, Refugees and other Migrants since 2000.
Last October they opened ‘Going Green’, a café and zero waste refill store in the town to address social, economic, and environmental issues. Chief Executive of Kerry County Council, Moira Murrell congratulated KASI on their success saying they are leading the charge by not only creating jobs but working towards bringing about positive social change.
