A Killarney man has been appointed the new General Manager of Clare Tourism East.

Stephen Hanley will be responsible for a number of amenities, including Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, and Craggaunowen Bronze Age Park.

He has extensive experience in tourism and hospitality, having previously been general manager of Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel, and the Radisson Blu hotels in Galway, Limerick, and Cork.
