A father of a child with profound additional needs says he despairs over the failure to provide a primary health care centre in Killarney.
Steve and Teresa O'Mahony's nine-year-old daughter Alexis has severe disabilities including a rare metabolic condition that causes brain abnormalities.
She requires round-the-clock care.
Killarney councillors originally approved the inclusion of a HSE-run primary care centre at the Áras Phádraig site near the town centre.
However, they later reversed this decision following significant backlash expressed during public consultation.
Mr O'Mahony criticised Kerry County Council and the HSE for what he sees as a lack of urgency.
