This evening's Christmas in Killarney Magic Parade has been cancelled.
Organisers said the decision was taken following consultations with An Garda and having taken numerous weather alerts into consideration.
Concern has been expressed about the safety of people driving from and returning to more remote areas where roads are still dangerous and rain and ice are making driving conditions hazardous.

There will be a parade next Saturday night at 6.00pm.
