Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce is leading the tributes to a vibrant and popular Killarney businessman.
Con O'Leary passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning.
He was best known for running The Laurels on Main Street, which he inherited after his father, Thado, passed away.
The Chamber said his passing marks the end of an era, as Mr O'Leary was part of a golden age of local entrepreneurs who helped build Killarney.
They commented that his hard work, bravery, and commercial flair contributed to Killarney’s growth as a top tourist destination.
