Killarney Brewing & Distilling company is now seeking investment.
Last Wednesday (April 16th) James Anderson of Deloitte Ireland was appointed as Interim Examiner in an effort to secure the company’s future.
The company opened a €24 million brewery and visitor centre in Fossa three years ago.
In a statement, the company cited geopolitical uncertainty and the fact a prospective US-based partner recently pulled out of a deal, among the reasons examinership was necessary.
The directors of the company say the examinership process presents the most viable path to secure the company’s future by attracting new investment from experienced industry partners.
The Interim Examiner is inviting those who wish to invest in the company can submit a formal expression.
Formal expressions of interest can be submitted to James Anderson, Deloitte Ireland, Earlfort Terrace, Dublin 2 by 5pm on Friday the 25th of April.
