Killarney actor Jessie Buckley is to receive this year's Maureen O'Hara award.
This award is offered to women who have excelled in film.
The Kerry International Film Festival says the Killarney woman is to get the accolade due to her exceptional work in both film and the arts.

The festival committee say they are delighted to be presenting the award to Jessie Buckley on what would have been Maureen O' Hara's centenary year.
The award will be presented via an online interview next month.
