The Kilgarvan-Kenmare road is closed following a traffic crash near Quills funeral home.
There are long traffic delays and Gardai are advising drivers on the Loo Bridge to Kilgarvan road to turn back to the Killarney road.
Drivers on the Cork via Kilgarvan road are being advised to turn back and travel via the Molls Gap road or Bantry road.
