Kerry workers advised they may be eligible to public holiday entitlements

Workers in Kerry are being advised that they may be entitled to public holiday pay.

Citizens Information say full-time and part time employees could be eligible for the benefit payment or time in lieu.

It says part-time and seasonal workers can qualify, when they have worked a total of 40 hours in the previous five weeks.

This could include a paid day off on bank holidays, an additional leave day, an additional day’s pay, or a paid day off within a month of a public holiday.
