A Kerry vintner doesn't believe Sky will reduce charges for pubs if the company successfully clamps down on so-called dodgy boxes.
Christy Walsh is secretary of the Kerry branch of the Vintners' Federation of Ireland.
He says the minimum a pub must pay to show Sky content is over 5,000 euro per year, while the Ultimate Sky Sports Package ranges from over 15,000 to over 33,000 euro a year.
Mr Walsh claims the vintners have been trying to negotiate with the Sky for 20 years, but have got nowhere.
