Two Kerry venues are to receive up to €20,000 in the Grassroots Music Venues Support Scheme.
60 venues nationwide have been approved to share in over €1 million night-time economy supports, as announced by Arts Minister Patrick O’Donovan.
Mike The Pies in Listowel is to receive €20,000, while the Green Room in Dingle will benefit from €15,000 for live performances.

The announcement has been welcomed by Equality Minister Norma Foley, Independent TDs Danny and Michael Healy-Rae and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly.
