Research, conducted by Wizer Energy, used data from Google Trends to find the nations top beach loving towns.
It analysed searches of key words including swim, surf, weather, and tide times.

Tralee ranked third in the chart for the most beach obsessed towns nationally.
Tramore in County Waterford took the top spot, followed by Ranafast in County Donegal.
