Tidy Towns groups in Kerry are welcoming the news that a partnership between local authorities and their mutual insurance company means they no longer have to pay for insurance.
The partnership between councils and Irish Public Bodies Insurance removes the cost of insurance for tidy town groups that are backed by local authorities.
Tidy Towns groups in Kerry are hoping that the move will ease the financial and administrative burdens they’ve been facing in recent years.
