Kerry Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly is to take his challenge against the Government’s appointment of Super Junior Ministers to the Supreme Court.
His challenge, along with that of People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy, was dismissed by the High Court in December last year.
The Opposition TD argued the attendance of super juniors at cabinet breached a constitutional cap on the number of members of government.

Deputy Daly welcomed the decision to bring the matter before the Supreme Court, where he says ‘legal clarity’ will be established.
