More funding will be forthcoming to deliver a new hospitality college for Killarney as quickly as possible.
That’s according to Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill, who says the purchase of the former Pretty Polly site in Killarney by the Kerry ETB is a game-changer for the county.
The Kerry Education and Training Board was allocated €2.3 million in funding to purchase the site of the former factory, which has been derelict for decades.
Plans were announced as far back as 2022 for the Kerry ETB to redevelop the site and eventually provide a hospitality college campus for up to 4,000 students.
Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill hopes that will be delivered as soon as possible.
