A Kerry TD has said it’s clear the Government has taken their eye off the protection of consumers.
Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly was responding to figures showing only 14 companies have been prosecuted by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) over the last five years.
New figures revealed that only 43 investigations had been launched by the CCPC between 2018 and last year.

Deputy Daly, who's his party's spokesperson for justice, says these figures are not adequate.
