A Kerry TD is hopeful the government will introduce targeted measures to tackle rising fuel costs at next Tuesday’s cabinet meeting.
TD Michael Cahill claims the government has been carefully monitoring the situation in the Middle East and on international oil markets.
He says households in Kerry are under immense pressure.

However, Deputy Cahill believes it was right that the government took time to calculate what would be the most effective practical measures:
