A Kerry TD says has hit out at the narrative about immigrants that’s being shared across social media as he feels it is creating division.
Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly was speaking after a spate of attacks on several members of the Indian community throughout Ireland in recent weeks.
Among those attacked was Indian-born Sonali Flynn who has lived in Kerry for 26 years; she was verbally and physically attacked at the end of July.

Deputy Pa Daly condemned the rise in racial attacks and says immigrants aren’t a threat to our society.
He says the public need to be aware that people are creating online content in a bid to create division:
