A Kerry TD has slammed the government’s retrofitting loan scheme – calling it a “damp squib.”
Sinn Féin's Pa Daly has said that just 355 loans approved in a year — far from the game-changer we were promised.
He also stated that the country is behind on climate targets, with only 12% of home retrofits and 3% of heat pumps delivered.

Deputy Daly claims that people are locked out by high costs, delays, and red tape, especially in rural Ireland.
The TD said that unless fairness and access improve, a just transition won’t be possible.
