The Chair of Sinn Féin Kerry says the presidential election shows the party’s intent to bring political change.
Daithí Fitzgerald was speaking after he was re-elected as chairperson at the party’s recent Kerry AGM.
The 25-year-old says Sinn Féin will continue to build on its movement for change and build on its objectives, which he says are "to organise, challenge and win".
He added the united presidential campaign showed what’s possible when there’s collaboration across political divides.
Daithí Fitzgerald says the party intends to intensify its challenge to the political status quo and expand it’s presence across the county.
